2026 Spring Hockey Information
2026 Jr Jets Spring Hockey Information
The Jr Jets will be offering two spring hockey opportunities based on birth year. We will be offering a Spring Development Program for 9U (2017) and 10U (2016) players as well as a 2015/16 "All Girls" development team. We will also be offering spring hockey teams for 11U through 14U players (2015-2011). The Jr Jets will also be including the first annual Janesville Jets Development Camp hosted by current and former Janesville Jets coaches and players.
Tryouts for all programming will be the week of March 16th, 2026 at the Woodmans Sports and Convention Center.
All Spring Development Program players and Jr Jets spring teams will be coached by non-parent coaches.
Jr Jets Spring Development Program
Offered for players with birth years in 2017 and 2016. The "All Girls" development program will be for girls with birth years of 2016 and 2015.
These three Spring Development Program groups will take around 30-35 players each.
Tryouts for the Spring Development Program will be the week of March 16th, 2026. Cost of tryouts is $25 per player. Tryouts will be two nights during the week of March 16th. Players selected to the Spring Development Program will practice twice a week for 5 weeks. Practices begin the week of April 6th and run through May 8th, 2026.
Players selected to the Spring Development Program will also be invited to the Janesville Jets Development Camp on Saturday May 9th, 2026. This is an all day camp that will consist of two on ice skills sessions, one off ice skills session and one film session. The camp will be run by current and former Janesville Jets coaches and players. Lunch will be provided for all camp participants.
At the conclusion of the Spring Development Program, a Jr Jets Tournament Team at the 2017, 2016 and 2015/16 "All Girls" will be formed. These teams will be formed from Spring Development Camp participants. Tournament team players will have an additional 2-3 team practices and partipate in the Independent Classic Hockey Tournament in Minneapolis, May 15-17th, 2026. There will be an additional fee of $150 for all players electing to participate on the tournament team.
All Spring Development Program particpants will receive a camp jersey and a Jr Jets hat or t-shirt.
All Tournament Team participants will receive a Jr Jets game jersey and socks.

Cost: $350 per player, with an additional $150 for players selected to a tournament team.
Jr Jets Spring Hockey Teams
Offered to players with birth years 2015 through 2011. We tentatively plan to have a team at each birth year. However, some birth years may be combined based on interest and talent.
Tryouts for the Jr Jets spring teams will be the week of March 16th, 2026. Cost to tryout will be $25 per player. Tryouts will be two nights during the week of March 16th. Players selected to a team will practice twice a week from March 30th through May 8th, 2026.
Players selected to a spring team will also be invited to the Janesville Jets Development Camp on Saturday May 9th, 2026. Spring teams will participate in at least one tournament, which is tentatively scheduled for the Independent Classic Hockey Tournament in Minneapolis. The tournament date is May 15-17th, 2026. The addition of a second tournament will be team dependent and offered based on availability. An additional $150 per player will be charged for any additional tournament(s).
All spring hockey team players will receive a game jersey and socks, Jr Jets Hat or t-shirt, 10-12 team/skill practices, one development camp day, 1-2 scrimages and at least 1 tournament.
Cost: $650
Updated tryout information, fees, coaching, tournaments, etc will be available when registration opents. Registration will be open by Monday January 19th, 2026.
