Tryout/Team Selections are Planned for March 8-March 25th, 2021
Tryout Location: Verona Ice Arena (Possibly Oregon Ice Arena)
Cost is $40 Tryout Registration required. Payments made online

Planned Birthyear teams for Spring 2021:
2012, 2011, 2010, 2009, 2008, 2007
Team Player Fees will be determined based on allowable practices (Typically 2/Week), scrimmages, and Tournaments (Typically 2 In Minnesota April and May). Individual teams will have options to reform in summer for additional tourney for extra tourney cost.
Spring Cost will be $700-800/Player

2006, 2005, 18u Teams schedules, Tournaments and Practices will be different than youth teams.

Youth Team Tryouts

Tryouts for all teams will consist of 2, one hour on-ice sessions. Format will be a mix of skating, puck skill drills, competition, small area games, and full ice scrimmage.  Some age levels may have invitation based team selections.

Team Coaches and additional evaluators will grade all players and average out scores to determine who makes the teams. Evaluators will do their best to watch all players and rank based on tryout performance and  understanding players' puck skills, skating ability, attitude, work ethic, potential, and greater understanding of the game.

Players that are chosen for the Jr Jet's Team will be Called within 48 hours after last tryout and invited to join the team.

Final Roster will be posted on the team page under roster tab a few days later.

Typical roster will include 15 Skaters, 2 Goalies. Some teams may offer a couple players Alternate Spots to participate in practices only.

Unfortunately, not all players trying out will be offered a spot this spring as these can be highly competitive teams to make.

The decisions to pick a team each year is a very very difficult process for our evaluators and coaching staffs. One of the hardest things to do in sports, is to tell a player he/she didn't make a team.

Please keep a positive yet realistic outlook while instilling confidence in your child, knowing that kid’s development at different times and it’s just a game!

The 2018 Spring Season is 2 months long & designed for higher level club players to refine skills and compete with same birth-year players of similar talent.  Perfect Length of time to advance skills & still have spring & summer to enjoy other sports!! Most all ice times are based out of Verona Ice Arena
